About the event
This six-week course will explore the Foundations of Mindfulness, a central practice of Buddhism. We will practice training our attention, focusing on breath and body sensations, witnessing our emotions and thoughts, and cultivating a more profound capacity for self-compassion. The class will combine seated meditation, both silent and guided, gentle movement meditation, talks, and opportunities for group sharing. Through these contemplative practices, we will develop greater awareness, soften the heart, create deeper connections, develop a sense of inner calm, and build emotional resilience. These simple yet powerful practices will cultivate the capacity of Full Presence in our daily life experiences.
