About the event
Take a great walk and come away with deeper knowledge of the history and context of Mission District muralism. This tour begins at Precita Eyes Muralists (2981 - 24th Street, near Harrison) with a brief introduction by your guide, who is also a muralist and is prepared to answer all of your mural questions. Then go for a guided six block walk through Balmy Alley and along 24th Street, including St. Peter's Church and the digital murals at Galeria de la Raza. The tour takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.
No reservations or advance tickets for this tour. Tickets go on sale the same day of the tour, Saturday 25 March, at 12:00 noon at the meet-up point (Precita Eyes, 2981- 24th St.) All welcome and no one will be turned away.
