Calle 24 Latino Cultural District developed committees to address the issues that rose to the top and were the most pressing during community outreach in 2012-13. Landuse, Arts and Culture, Quality of Life and Economic Vitality Committees.  These committees and the goal to protect, enhance and preserve our cultural assets which include events, murals, lowriders, small mom and pop businesses, artists, vendors, housing, and trees to name a few, are not possible with out advocacy efforts.  Advocacy to lift the voices of the most marginalized and provide a platform through marches, rallies, and protests.​
